We are excited to introduce this new platform where creativity and community come together. Since opening in 2015, The Artist Lab has grown from our original "Little Artist Lab" in Tustin into a vibrant art studio in Irvine, California, located in the Parkview Center at University Drive and the 405 Freeway. Our studio has become a key destination for art enthusiasts, drawing over 600 families each week from Orange County and beyond, both in-person and virtually.
Through this blog, we aim to bridge the gap between high school and higher education for aspiring artists. We are dedicated to providing top-notch fine art and digital art training, helping students build exceptional portfolios that are essential for the competitive college admissions process. Our goal is to support students in becoming well-rounded, accomplished artists, ready to face the challenges of higher education and beyond.
Here, you'll find insights into our diverse art practices and professional instruction. At The Artist Lab, we offer a rich educational experience in a range of artistic disciplines, including Drawing & Painting, Ceramic Sculpture, Sewing Art, Jewelry-Making & Design, and Miniature Design. Our professional Fine Art educators, trained at esteemed art schools, guide students through various mediums such as tempera, watercolors, gouache, acrylics, oil paints, pastels, graphite, charcoal, ink, markers, low-fire clay, needle and thread, felt, fabric patterns, textiles, colored polymer clay, and beads.
